She earned a bachelor's in art history from Columbia University in 2007. In 2017, she was a part of The View's daytime talk show The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She was awarded four Daytime Emmy award nominations for the show's efforts. Other ventures McCain has been a columnist for the Daily Mail newspaper after her three years at The View.
