Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice. In both 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. The first female to win at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was raised through her mother and father living in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and was a fan of doing exercises. She won many medals during school competitions. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie started with her CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. She was successful in her first games, finishing within the top 10. She did not take home a championship and concluded the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Her coach Jami Tikannen helped her achieve a second place finish at the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit events and thanks to her dominant performance she won the games and became the first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to win the two CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and Sidekick Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel named "Annie", with over 1,000 viewers. This is where she uploads videos about training diet, family life and traveling.
