Anne Heche was an American actress, who made her entrance into the world of entertainment through her role in the soap opera "Another World.' She had accused her father of sexually assaulting her prior to his death from AIDS. As she and the only remaining sibling defended their father, her connection with her mother was not a good one. Her appearances on television shows and films including "Fatal Desire"," "The Brave,"" "Wild Side," as well as, more lately, "I Know What You did last Summer." The romance she shared with Ellen DeGeneres was a major controversy. She then married Coley Laffoon but was divorced afterward. James Tupper became her boyfriend and she gave birth to an additional child along in his presence. In a memoir entitled "Call My Crazy" she tells the story of her troubled past which includes her relationship with a lesbian and abusive father. The breakup she had with DeGeneres resulted in her suffering emotionally and psychologically, for which she was treated medically. Anne Heche passed away in Los Angeles on 6 August 2022, just six days after an accident that killed her. Her death occurred aged 53.
